The Shorehouse Hotel, in conjunction with The Point Acupuncture and local wellness practitioner, Sarah Conrad, will be hosting our first retreat! We are so excited to present the lineup for this W.O.W. weekend.
The focus of this Weekend Of Wellness is the fundamentals of women's wellness. You'll get tools and take homes for balancing your hormones and feeling your best. From nutrition to movement and mental health practices, we'll show you routines you can build into your daily life, while showcasing the beauty and talents of our property, our town, and its inhabitants.

Discussion on Creating Space for Our Changing Lives & Bodies in an extended weekend of gathering in feminine community.
Life is crazy. Our lives seem increasingly busy and often chaotic. Family, work, finances… the juggling act is real. Sometimes we need space to step away and reset.Join us to do just that. Through joyful conversation, movement, yoga, breathwork, journaling, art, hot springs, hiking, delicious food, and important information sharing, we will be enjoying the beauty that is life, together. This is one retreat that you do not want to miss!
Nestled in the heart of downtown Buena Vista, we will be delightfully comfortable at the newly created and inspired Shorehouse Hotel. We will kick off our shoes, feel good, laugh, and share experiences in this intentional creation of space. Make the time for yourself!
Along with pure enjoyment, the intention behind this retreat is founded on creating a proverbial ‘tool box’; one that will provide attendees with conscious actions to instigate healthy behaviors that have the potential to create positive routines to incorporate into everyday living. We all want (and need!) time away for ourselves, but how does one go about feeling supported the rest of the time? We are hopeful that through this shared experience, you will leave not only refreshed, but also inspired to incorporate the simple yet profound actionable takeaways.

Sarah Conrad, host and owner/operator of Buena Vista Healing, will be offering space for movement, breathwork, and reflection through journaling.
Dr. Katie Altneu, owner/operator of The Point Acupuncture and Holistic Medicine, will be sharing her extensive knowledge on Women’s Health, hormones, diet, and aiding in the understanding of the balancing of our bodies.
Darcie Smith, local artist and avid traveler, will be facilitating an art experience to encourage exploration and risk taking.
Megan Kingman, owner/operator of CKS River Supply and The Shorehouse Hotel will join and share her experience in trusting yourself.
Cat Tobin and Barb Zucker, local food masters, will create and cater nutritious meals with purpose. In conjunction with Dr Katie Altneu, will discuss the importance of feeding our bodies.
It takes a village, and we have an amazing village making this retreat happen.

Each individual will be sharing a room/ bed with another event participant. The goal of this retreat is to be comfortable with each other. In our spaces, in our conversation, and in our thoughts. We will have a maximum of 16 lucky people to join us in this retreat.
What's not included? Dinner on Saturday night. Saturday dinner is an open opportunity to explore on your own or with new friends.
