The smell of cold sandstone and water in the middle of the sunny desert. The Throne Room is a special place that evokes an intimate majesty within the vastness of what is the Grand Canyon. The earth tones, spectacular views, comfort and luxury of the Throne Room Penthouse are meant to resonate the same earthy majesty, intimacy, and awe as its namesake. The Throne Room Penthouse is where luxury meets comfort and changes your outlook on the journey ahead and behind you. Sometimes life asks us to stop. A Layover Day is a day on the river used to relax, let loose, and regroup to fully enjoy the spoils of the company and surroundings. Similarly, the Layover Day suite was created to evoke the same mentality. The open and spacious design, full kitchen and sunny living room, are all meant to encourage comfort, slowing down, and fully enjoying company and place. All of our rooms are equipped with air conditioning, Marshall speakers, and locally made shampoo, conditioner, and soaps.

Vibrant, carefree, and accepting. The Daisy Chain suite is the embodiment of the rafting culture that pulses through Buena Vista and our own lives. With 70’s vibes and a rowdy underbelly the Daisy Chain’s concept is an eclectic mix of southwestern, mid century design, with a vibrant color palette. Magpie Room

Where wild meets refined; where history meets the modern. The Shorehouse Hotel was constructed adjacent to Buena Vista’s 1880s brothel, The Palace of Joy. The Magpie Suite is named after its renowned Madam, Elizabeth Sturgeon, who was known for her pet magpie. Taking a note from nature, the simple black and white design of the room mimics the simplistic beauty of the American Magpie. Clean lines play with natural elements to create a modern oasis. And the perfect place to reset from a day spent in the wilderness. All of our rooms are equipped with air conditioning, Marshall speakers, and locally made shampoo, conditioner, and soaps.
